Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Authors must ensure that articles submitted to Jurnal KOMUNITAS are not currently being submitted or in the process of being published in another journal.
    2. Authors must use the manuscript template provided by Jurnal KOMUNITAS (please download and use the template for initial manuscript submission).
    3. Authors can submit articles in Indonesian or English.
    4. Authors must ensure articles are submitted in editable versions, namely doc and/or docx files.
    5. When writing the bibliography, authors must use citation tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote in APA (American Psychological Association) style, 7th edition. Authors are also required to cite at least one article from Jurnal KOMUNITAS in the body of the manuscript.
    6. Title: The article title should be no more than 15 words, without acronyms or abbreviations, Times New Roman (TNR), font 11, bold, centred, all capital letters (in Indonesian). A translation of the English title should be included below, following the same rules.
    7. Authors' names should be presented without titles, TNR 11 font, centre, and accompanied by an email address.
    8. The abstract should be a short paragraph of no more than 200 words, without citations, and should include the background of the problem, research objectives, methods, results or findings, and conclusions.
    9. The section structure is: Introduction - Methods - Results and Discussion - Acknowledgement - Conclusion - References. The largest percentage of the text should be allocated to Results and Discussion, TNR 11 font, single-spaced.
    10. A minimum of 20 references is expected, with 70 percent of them from research journals. References should be from the most recent publications within the last 5-10 years.
    11. Authors agree to the APC as stipulated in the policy.
    12. Article retractions are subject to a processing fee of 75% of the APC.
    13. Authors are permitted to post their articles published in Jurnal KOMUNITAS online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on websites) by including a link to the article in Jurnal KOMUNITAS.

Panduan bagi penulis :

  1. Penulis wajib memastikan jika artikel yang dikirimkan ke Jurnal KOMUNITAS tidak sedang dikirimkan atau sedang dalam proses penerbitan di jurnal lain.
  2. Penulis wajib menggunakan template manuskrip yang disediakan oleh Jurnal KOMUNITAS (silakan unduh dan gunakan template untuk pengiriman manuskrip awal).
  3. Penulis dapat mengirimkan artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia dan atau bahasa Inggris.
  4. Penulis wajib memastikan artikel dikirim dalam versi dapat edit yakni dalam bentuk file doc dan atau docx.
  5. Dalam penulisan daftar pustaka, penulis wajib menggunakan alat bantu sitasi seperti Mendeley, Zotero, atau EndNote gaya APA (American Psychological Association) edisi ke-7. Penulis juga diwajibkan menyitasi minimal 1 artikel dari Jurnal KOMUNITAS pada badan manuskrip.
  6. Judul : Judul artikel tidak lebih dari 15 kata, tanpa akronim atau singkatan, Times New Roman (TNR), font 11, bold, center, semua huruf kapital (berbahasa Indonesia). Pada bagian bawahnya disertakan translate Judul dalam bahasa Inggris dengan aturan sama.
  7. Nama penulis disajikan tanpa gelar, TNR 11, center, disertai email korespondensi
  8. Abstrak harus berupa paragraf singkat dengan tidak lebih dari 200 kata; tanpa kutipan; memuat latar belakang masalah, tujuan penelitian, metode, hasil atau temuan, dan kesimpulan.
  9. Struktur bagian: Pendahuluan - Metode - Hasil dan Pembahasan – Pengakuan-Kesimpulan-Referensi. Prosentase tulisan paling banyak dialokasikan pada Hasil dan Pembahasan, font TNR 11, 1 spasi.
  10. Referensi diharapkan minimal 20 dengan komposisi 70 persen diantaranya adalah dari jurnal penelitian. Referensi diharapkan luaran terbaru maksimal 5-10 tahun terakhir.
  11. Author menyetujui APC sebagaimana kebijakan ditetapkan.
  12. Pencabutan artikel dikenakan biaya pemrosesan 75 % dari APC.
  13. Penulis diperbolehkan memposting artikel mereka yang telah terbit di Jurnal KOMUNITAS secara daring (misalnya, di repositori institusional atau di situs web) dengan mencantumkan tautan artikel di Jurnal KOMUNITAS.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish their article in Jurnal KOMUNITAS agree to the terms that the author retains copyright and grants the journal first publication rights, which allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in the Jurnal KOMUNITAS.
 
Penulis yang menerbitkan karyanya di Jurnal KOMUNITAS menyetujui ketentuan bahwa penulis mempertahankan hak cipta dan memberikan hak publikasi pertama kepada jurnal, yang memungkinkan orang lain untuk membagikan karya tersebut dengan pengakuan atas kepenulisan karya dan publikasi awal di jurnal KOMUNITAS.
